I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to Stevland Hardaway Judkins (AKA) Stevland Hardaway Morris (AKA) Little Stevie Wonder (AKA) STEVIE WONDER!
Yes today Stevie Wonder is 60 years old! Born May 13, 1950 in Detroit Michigan and blind almost from birth who would have ever guessed the he would become the musical GENIUS we all know and love today!

RIP Lena Horne, an Icon
Over this past weekend a LEGEND passed away. On Sunday 5/9/10, Lena Horn died at the age of 92. Born, Lena Mary Calhoun Horne on June 30, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York she was an Entertainer, A Singer, a Dancer and an Activist in the Civil Rights Movement.
Ms Horne had parts in films such as "Stormy Weather", "Cabin In The Sky" and "The Wiz" as well as starring in her own Broadway show "Lena Horne: The Lady & Her Music".
Ms Horne was an Emmy Nominee and a Tony Award Nominee and she was the winner of an NAACP Award.
At a time in history when Black people were not aloud simple basic freedoms Ms Horne was helping to clear the way for black entertainers who would come after her.
Rest In Peace Lena Horne! We appreciate what you did and you will not be forgotten!
